You Haunt Everything I Know

why won't you go?
why won't you leave me alone?
you haunt everything i know.
and sometimes it's so hard to show,
that i don't miss you.
that i don't wish you were here.
that im so sorry for all those things
i wish you didn't hear.
sometimes i want to pick up the phone,
let my fingers grace the familiar keys
but what would i say to you?
we are done with.
we are broken.
and nothing can fix this.
deep down i know
that i have to let go,
and this is how it's suppose to be.
but it's so hard when
you haunt everything i know.
