Innocent
Innocent
I’m walking down sidewalk, coming home from school, when I saw her face. Pretty face, sweet smile, on her little sun-filled face. I look at her and see that she’s still innocent, she doesn’t know, she’s still gold. I watch her blond bouncy curls as she walks by me. And I can only hope, that she stays innocent. That she stays gold, before the tide of time takes her innocence away.
