Dreams of a Young Girl
Over the mountain, across the blue skies,
She watches slowly how her life passes by.
Oppressed by betrayal,
She fights to be strong,
The great man that shadows her,
Like the water lives on.
Only forgiveness lives in her benign heart,
She knows no malice,
In a world gone so wrong.
The fire within her keeps going for love.
Nothing will stop her, not until she’s done.
She strives so her hands
Can touch the freedom within,
The freedom she solely looks for,
The freedom she wants to see.
In the moment she knows at a distant,
Her eyes, that freedom will meet.
Voices surround her,
As she listens to whispers from the wind.
The darkness shutters anger,
But she won’t hear it,
She won’t listen to it speak.
