There’s a storm brewing
And I’m waiting here afraid
For the first thunder clap
Lightning flash
The first few drops of rain
To wash the world away

There is hope brewing
Standing in the shade
My heart did snap
A subtle crash
I’m left here now in pain
You washed my world away
