My Secret Love
A feeling buried deep inside
Can’t make itself revealed
Has to hide behind a mask
As a shadow always felt.
But my eyes can unleash
What emotion lies beneath
A brilliant colour shows
Only when you are near.
I can tell you don’t love me
But it’s hard to understand
To see you touch another
Fills my heart with pain.
You ask me what I want to say
And I can think of many words
To describe my love for you
But still I make no sound.
Only to protect my humility
And to keep my pride
Just to keep our friendship
Do I hang my head and hide.
If only I didn’t feel this
Not now and not for you
But moments when you look at me
Are worth the blood and tears.
I wish that I could hold you
And you would hold me too
You would whisper words
I will wait to hear forever.
I will wait every moment
For that dream to become truth
Where nothing else matters
But a love that never dies.
