Self-Corrosion
When much is gained,
Most is lost.
A morbid face,
Joyous to the spectator,
Unblinkingly stares
Seeing nothing.
A glorious course
Dimmed by sin
Hinders the peace inside
Melting into frozen ashes
The guilt
Menacing to crumble
The eternal spirit within.
Shiver thou might
At the demons scrapping their claws
At the slightest lie
Until it bleeds liquid charcoal
Eating away at the soul
Until the senses are extinct
Within a hollow corpse that breaths.
