Heroes
Camo and face paint hide their disguise
So they appear unseen in enemy eyes
They army crawl across the ground
Swiftly and silently so they don’t make a sound
These are the real heroes who protect us all
They do it willing big or small
I don’t take for grand it what they do
And neither should you
So the next time you see a soldier who served
Remember to give them the respect they deserve
