words are like little daggers
daggers aiming for a beating heart
a heart that is determined
determined to feel whole
a wholeness that words damage
damage of the tongue
a tongue full of painful daggers
daggers formed from words
the words we dont think about...

words are like smiles
smiles on a happy persons face
a face that is kept in memory
a memory of great things
things that make a person smile
smiles that form from a persons words
the words we say with care..

words are like books
books we read for knowledge
knowledge we need to survive
survival in a dangerous world
a world that can be changed
changed from what we say
said from what we know
known from reading books
books that are like words
the words we say with wisdom....

The author's comments:
Gossip, the one word everyone can relate to. Gossip isn't only a negative thing it can be positive and educational gossip. However, Gossip will have an affect on a person, either good or bad.

awww, i really liked the style of this. the only qualm i have is that daggers gets used a lot, so it feels overused. it's definitely good though. c:
