you tell me I got control problems
you don’t know the half of it
I am the one that inflicts pain on myself
not you
I hold the blade
control the pain
make the bleeding stop
so I don’t hear a “pop”
and know it’s all over
you no longer call the shots
tell me what to do
I’m no longer your fool
the thing is
I became a monster
just like you
so sick of controlling other people
I inflict pain on myself
to get some control
