I try not to yell or put up a fight
When we both know everything was never alright
How could I know that evryday
You looked at me, it was always the same
Thoughts in your head, I never really knew
That the love I needed wasn't coming from you
It wasn't my fault, I know better than that
All that you told me was a load of crap
Being with you I was never good enough
So I tried to change and be what I was not
But what I realized then is what I know now
That somehow...
I'm okay with who I am
So I'm writing love on my arms and the pain you caused me is almost gone.

Emotionally abusive relationships are much harder to spot than physicall abusive ones, and therefore harder to get out of. So if you ever find yourself in that situation, please get out. Before it becomes a viscious cycle.

Very true.
