Life's Storm

Life's Storm-
Life's like a storm;
rain pounding on the streets.
Falling quickly, in forms
of crystal clear candy treats.
Washing up the sadness
and carrying it out,
while it passes
over to the next drought.
The skies clear up,
the sun pokes out.
Lighting the sky up,
along with my pout.
A rainbow peeks over the valley;
the bright colors shine,
popping out gladly,
introducing a new starting line.
We wonder if there's a pot of gold
at the end of the journey.
There is, but we must unfold
our treasures that are burried.
