For every second spent on you
Is just another second wasted
For thinking, remembering, dwelling
Upon it is just a lost cause to me
I saw through your lies
You never were a friend of mine
And to think any differently
Makes me regret each and every step
It wasn't a stab in the back, no
A stab in the heart
Right when I needed you the most
Where did you run off to?
Like the flicker of a light switch
And you were gone
I don't want you back
But, to say you aren't missed
