Glitter & Debris
The patterns of shingles crumbling,
Slate eroding, dust and debris falling from this rooftop.
I disintegrate like they do from this corroding perch above suburbia.
Sterlings fling from the highest points above
And like them,
I am fearless
My wings clipped, but the break is inevitable;
I am not afraid
of anyone
of anything.
I am a queen of stucco and cement,
glitter&debris.
My hands the air,
my eyes the sea
There's nothing left for me
Outside the realm of my creation
Today, I am echoes and mountains.
