something different
There was a girl
Who carried the weight of the world
Trapped inside a troubled mind
Searching and searching for some kind of reply
She wants to hear but no one speaks
Vacant, grey eyes is what she sees
As silent whispers flow through the town
People don’t realize she cant give up now
Some people call her weak
Some people call her strong
It doesn’t matter what they say
She’s determined to prove them wrong
She can’t give up, can’t you see
She won’t be like them
Robotic and mean
She’s holding on to individuality
There was a girl,
Different from the rest
