Bleak rain
Children laughing
Leaves scatter
Trees blowing
Dogs howling
TV buzzing
Siblings fighting
Heater warming
Motorcycle humming
Lights flashing
Sink running
Pans clanking
Pages ruffle
I look up
Though all the noises and sights are clear and loud in my head I do not hear them for I am in my own world. In my chair, with a good book, reading. This takes me to another land. My only sense of my five sense turned on is my imagination.
