Silence
Silence
permeates everything
filling the still air
with whispers of
the past
Silence
makes me want
to scream as
I slowly, feel
my hold on reality
slip between my
fingers
Silence
just will not do
so I sit on the bench
inhale - ready to
release
Silence
has been broken
by the first of
many notes
in a discordant
harmony and others
follow, always follow
Music
springs forth
in the muted darkness
hands poised upon the keys
ready to strike, to play, I wait and begin
Music
comples notes
highs and lows
giving living meaning
plucking away at life
I can hear them all now
my fingers flying into
Music
harmony resonates
and I've found, myself
glowing waterfall of hair
obscures the smile on my face
Music
strings are plucking
harp twinning gently
but firmly into
the cacophony
that is always
Music
emotions becoming sound
wood winds, brass, now
they join too
and more, so many more
Bliss
exists in that moment of
crescendo
When the world falls away and
the music is a living breathing part of
myself
and utterly wonderful in it's simplicity
There is nothing but
peace
and now
Silence
is beautiful.
