Running from the truth only to live the lie
All the feelings I had for you, I’d only deny
Even when he wasn’t hurting me, I could only think of you
You’ll never know how much I wanted to tell you I loved you too
Finally he hurt me far beyond repair
I was surprised to find I didn’t even care
I sat there drowning in the depths of your eyes
No longer would I fall for his stupid lies
I don’t know why I held on for so long
I loved you even though I knew it was wrong
I should have been with you from the start
It was you, not him that had stolen my heart
