Time climbs like a runner up a hill.
You look now but suddenly
before your eyes they're slipping from distance,
From your life.
Time wasted is time slipping away,
Everyday.
Time does keep slipping into the future,
Unexpectantly,
Abruptly.
But for those of us unlucky enough to spend time lost, see nothing in our peripheral vision.
Our vision is clouded with regret, with pain,
We'll need never be the same.
But it's not a good thing.
For time continuely climbs, leaving us behind...
