Read Between the Lines
I say 'you rock'
But really mean 'I like you'
You say you think my name is cute
But does that mean you like me?
In a crowd of people you say 'hi' directly to me
Outside I speak calmly but inside
I scream 'what do you really mean?'
I walk past you, like the cars driving down the street
You stop in front of me, like a car parked on the curb,
And just stared.
Your eyes could be saying one thing
But they could be saying another.
