Song of Rebirth

Suddenly the clouds
have broken,
showing the
glorious earth beneath.
Kept so long under swirling
black
oppression.
Let loose
and free for the first
time.
On its wobbly legs,
it stumbles to find
its pace.
Yes!
And it marches along,
Proudly holding his head to
the sky,
waiting for the right moment
to grace the world
with its next song.
