Bloodlines
We are connected by our blood
My world is so contrary to his
His eyes dance with wonder
As I gaze down into his world
My sky blue eyes do not match His almost black with a tint of blue eyes
He sees everything different
In a mute world
He cannot walk or talk
Play or run like an average joe
Our parents are the only connection between our gazes
I try to hold on to His eyes and tell him about the scary world that he cannot understand
His world is so contrary to mine
And that's how it has to stay through our lives
As brother and sister
