on happiness.
This is not about love. This is not about sorrow.
This isn’t about regretting yesteryear,
Or about wishing for tomorrow.
This is about right now, right here.
She finds herself alone,
But she finds reason to smile.
She doesn’t always have great days,
But she always has an excuse for a better.
She’s discovered the secret to life.
It wasn’t really all too hard.
She just wakes up and smiles.
And when everything falls down,
And she feels like it’s over,
She just closes her eyes.
She just sings to the skies.
“Don’t worry; I’m fine!”
And she moves on.
And she smiles.
