Jealousy
She bears her ground
Proud and towering
Content with life
And so carefree
Every day I’d yearn
To rule as she
A powerful being
As rooted to earth
And so close to God
She calls for me
To scale her ground
But even to approach
Seems too despairing
Her longing for more
Only breaks my heart
From limb to limb and
Pleased as her mighty trunk
Looking up to her
Is the greatest I can do
And that is enough for me.
