we all got scars, yes we do

for some of us they cut deeper than most

thoughts lingering in my head but the loudest most suffocating one is;

why?

what did I do to deserve this pain?

cuts those heal

wounds those disappear

yet these scars they remain

over time they close but the memories remain never leaving yet not bleeding

words that aren't said

cries and screams locked away

wondering what I did in my past life to endure this pain in my present life

past, recent, future scars remain

gotta reframe and keep em tame

but I don't know who to blame

not everyone's the same

you know me

you know my name

yet, you don't know my story

now those are scars that run deep

they seeped into my heart

carved into places in tore me apart

unbearable hurt and memories that will forever be never ending

I'm freedomSpeaker (real names ellie) I'm a poetry write I'm just getting started I've wrote a lot of poems and I hope for them to give closure to some hurting souls poetry is more then words poets are the ones that put the meaning into the poetry however I believe that the readers give the poem the story .
