society norms
Do they notice if I stop or even when I speak?
They never seem to notice,
unless there is something wrong with me.
Will they take away my voice,
As they chose to believe what they see?
Through the eyes of hatred,
that spreads lies about me.
Will they teach me how to grow,
from my mistakes?
Or will they push me down
Until I break?
For how can I be perfect in a society
That puts us all down.
And pins us against each other
For a game that doesn't end in a crown.
