Just a Poet MAG
You are the daughter
of the moon and sun
you are flowers in spring
and you are sunsets in late summers
when people talk about beauty
they imagine you
You are the creature
most deserving of love
my heart dies a little
every time I see you smile
I wanna be you
you are the art
you are what makes life
worth living
you do not need to scream
to be heard
I am just a poet
I only exist in my words
I am too scared to live my poetry
I am only allowed
to look at you and wonder
if you really smell
like strawberries
and rain.
