Night-time
Through the world around me twists and turns abound
minutes trickle by like water dripping on the ground
And In my soft bed restless I lie awake
As my moments weigh upon me so heavy I feel that I might break
Yet the stillness holds upon me a sort of magic spell
That no update or alarm holds the strength to quell
The navy sky surrounds me like an age-worn quilt
Patterned with a brave soldier, shining stars at his hilt
And in this tranquil state I find at last rest
The sound of silence having my weary eyes caressed
Dashing dreams and sulking specters soon my visage surround
Whisking me off to that strange world where all things confound
