Weeping Willow, I Love You
The crisp weeping willow sways smoothly.
Her leaves sing softly and her roots embrace the ground.
The wind kisses her branches and she blushes bashfully.
Comforting and caring like a warrior or knight.
My first love seen from far away where she stands upon
that tall hill across the land: strong, stable, stern.
Beautiful long locks captured by the breeze.
Soft cheeks, pinked by chill and puffed by her
enchanting, pretty smile.
Like a spell, my body moves closer, my eyes are stuck.
Curiosity is my curse and her beauty is my pulse.
She has my heart, my care, my thoughts.
Perfectly precious to me, like the willow to the world.
The girl I love to the most embarrassing ends, she who
holds my mind captive in a heart shaped leaf.
She, whose bark holds me tight and saves me.
Weeping Willow, I love you.
