Repeating Voices
Get a job,
Don't sit there and sob,
Go to school,
Even if some days you don't have the fuel.
Go to college,
To get more knowledge,
Get your permit,
So you can deal with more of God's little sons..
Pursuit of happiness,
More like pursuit of crapiness,
Don't be sad,
More like don't be like your Dad...
Your opinion doesn't matter,
Stop being a clatter,
Your just like him,
Go to the gym....
Why are you so fat?,
Why do you wear that hat?,
Why aren't you like other males?????
Don't talk back to adults,
Even if all they have to say is insults,
So don't even bother,
You're already like your father......

This poem has a mixture of the stress every teenagers deals with. But it also talks about the stress and voices I hear all the time from my parents telling me I am this, I am that. I have PTSD so those things that my parents told me I hear over and over again in their words. I end up having flashbacks and remember moments very detailed and voices the voices are the worst. I can go back to certain moments and just hear their voices so I decided to make a poem about some of the things I hear all the time. Some of the other things in the poem are just things people have asked me or told me, it is a mixture of a lot of different voices I remember and hear sometimes. I hope you liked this poem if you did please leave a like and a vote, thank you!
