How the Seasons Change
Lying in the grass looking up at the melting gaps of sunlight remembering the things I miss.
The things that change when autumn comes and summer passes by.
Seeing the leaves change and understanding the things taken for granted.
While looking back reminiscing about the carefree life we used to have.
Even though we never get those moments back, it's comforting to see the leaves fall.
I see the trees and feel like the trunk with all of the answers in different directions like the branches.
There is no right or wrong, just the idea that at some point we will have the answer.
And at some point, we can look at our younger selves and be something we would look up to.
So I look at the fallen leaves and try to find the answers.
As I look through the leaves still on the branches, again I see a hole of light shining down with little stars dancing around.
In a way, I feel that it is looking at me.
And that Is all I needed.
To see something endure time longer than I will see.
