love to hate you; hate to love you
Sometimes I truly wonder,
If you realize the impact your words have,
Because I was drowning with no lifeline
and those three words were all I had
“I love you” you would claim
like a prayer every night in bed.
Funnily enough,
the other night I met someone to whom those same words you said.
I know you don't realize
the impact of your words,
because you may say “I love you”
but “I hate you" is the phrase I personally prefer.
