I'll Go Back
I taste the salt in the air.
I feel the grit of the sand,
under my feet.
I love the beach, it's beautiful.
But I was forced to move.
To somewhere with no ocean.
Somewhere the only view,
is corn fields.
I miss the beach.
The sound of gulls,
and bonfires at night.
People. So Many people.
It was beautiful.
And I left that world behind.
I regret it,
but someday I'll go back.
