her son was an alcoholic
he drank until his organs forgot
to recuperate the damages done
he died four months afore his wedding
so when the ones around her prayed
for parents and grandparents
on ching ming day
she prayed two legged
in front of his grave
son gone afore her own
her own
own death was coming soon
dear brothers next
those brothers gone
eventually forgotten
left with a lawn of weed growing
on his bare grave
sitting lonely
sober
on ching ming day
