To the Pale
I was raised eating traditional home-cooked meals.
I spent my teenage years speaking two languages:
one was in secret and another in public.
Growing up black implies that you have
your version of everything.
Being of dark shade means waking up every day
Going to work while you are afraid for your life,
My brothers killed my brothers.
I should be afraid of spiders,
Get disgusted at the sight of cockroaches
Every time I see them, the Pale,
My heart started pumping faster
Biting my lips.
Afraid, afraid to get picked on
Afraid to get killed because of bigotry
Bigotry, Bigotry is me getting murdered
I don’t wanna die at their hands
I wanna live,
Live to the freedom they promised me
Sometimes I understand my brothers
Getting mad and acting reckless
But we must hold on to our senses
One day I will walk earth free
Pale, Why do you do this
Pale why do you hate us
Why so much hatred toward us
There is no future for hatred
As a n***a I have to stand up
For my people.For my people
I will stand up

As you can see it is describing black people's fear of racism, and our reaction to it. It's also a message to the white people who hate our skins color telling them even though I fear you, I will stand up for our people.
