Take Your Meds
The silence echos through the house
It isn’t the silence that scares me
It’s what comes after
They reach for me
Through the walls they poke out
Calling for me
I scream
They evade every, single, word
“I’m sick”, I tell myself
“Take your meds” , they tell me
“I don’t want to leave them” I say

I struggle very deeply with mental illness and I know how hard it is to take meds. But if you are struggling please confide in someone. And if you take meds don’t forget to take them!!
