If you don’t start now when will you ever start?

Hurry up there’s people waiting in line

There’s people praying for the very spot that you’re in right now

And yet what you’re afraid of is losing?

Pick up the pace

No one cares about you

No one cares about how you’re doing

No one cares about how you’re feeling

They want to see results

They want to see the things that you can do and criticize you for the things that you can’t

Stop for a second

Breathe in and breathe out

Take a break for mental health like the school counselors say

Its okay to take breaks

Its okay to make time for yourself

But when you don’t know who you are how do you make time for yourself?

I need to know who I am and what I am and what I want before its too late

Before its too late.

The people around you have goals and aspirations

They know what they want and they work hard towards it

They have the passion and they’re not lazy

Yeah, that’s right, they’re not lazy

Not like you

You sit in bed rotting, complaining how hard your life is,

When in reality you were that eighth grader praying for the very spot you are in right now

And you complain about your life? You complain about your school?

There’s people dying! For god’s sake, wake up you sloth!
