At the center of boredom is a dull gray like a storm cloud 


The shape of the past fits inside mind like Cinderella’s shoe


When you toss sadness to the wind, it returns as the bright yellow of sunflower


A new idea feels like blinding light inside the head


If you turn hope on high, you’ll see flashes of light blue and pink when you close your eyes
