afar
I can no longer see
The vibrant swaying flowers
Or the towering trees above me
I can no longer feel
The wind breezing through my hair
Or the warmth of the sun radiating on my skin
I no longer hear the birds wake me every morning
Flying outside my window without a care in the world
Always watching the bustle below
Now I observe the birds from a different perspective
A point of view so pleasant
Yet so far away
Above the swaying flowers and the towering trees
Above the windy breeze and the radiating sun
Above all, I now have a bird's eye view.
