Favorite Quote:
“Picture a wave. In the ocean. You can see it, measure it, its height, the way the sunlight refracts when it passes through. And it's there. And you can see it, you know what it is. It's a wave.

And then it crashes in the shore and it's gone. But the water is still there. The wave was just a different way for the water to be, for a little while. You know it's one conception of death for Buddhists: the wave returns to the ocean, where it came from and where it's supposed to be."

Myosotis,

It’s me you notice.

Wrapped around my body,

Choking me in roses.

My voice is drowned out

In daisies and lotus.

What’s left of my soul

Is covered in crocus.

Myosotis,

You take away my name.

Myosotis,

Don’t leave me here a shade.

Pierce my skin with thorns,

But tell me I am yours.

Please do not forget me,

As I fade into your memory.

Myosotis is the forget-me-not, one of my favorite flowers. I have always been fascinated by flowers and the meanings behind them, and flowers provide a lot of inspiration for me. The meaning of the forget-me-not flower is pretty straightforward.
