Get a bandage to cover your wound
It felt like drowning in the deep ocean
Facing the grey sky
Drops of rain hit me on the face.
I couldn’t breathe
My mind was mingled with all that made me so painful.
My scars,
My wounds,
They are aching.
I couldn’t stop crying
I was so worn out.
A ray of sunlight shone in
Oh dear,
I didn’t come this far to fail.
The best is yet to come.

This poem was written when I felt collapsed. But a sound in my head was saying ‘You didn’t come this far to fail’. I feel that I can’t give up. Hoping this poem can help anyone who is going through a collapse find your own ‘bandage’.
