Everything is perfect

Everything is neat

My model comes and sets herself up while I get my camera

I hand her her prop and tell her what to do

Everything is perfect

Until everything is wrong

The sun isn’t in the right place

The wind blows my model’s hair everywhere

Ok, not perfect

What do I do?

I adjust

We set up in a different spot

She puts her hair up in a bun

We capture some good photos

But not perfect

She looks at me oddly while I try to find the perfect angle

Ok still not perfect

It’s too late we have to be done

It’s still not the perfect picture and I am frustrated

I realize as I look more closely that it was never going to be perfect

No matter what I did

Because even if it wasn’t perfect, it was my picture
