June 2022 Poetry Contest June is ready to Bloom
June is ready to bloom
So don’t cause any doom.
June is ready to bloom
So don’t be so gloom.
Put a smile on your face,
And don’t let it go to waste.
For June is ready to bloom.
So please, get out of your room.
My creative writing teacher offered us the idea to pertake in this contest. I wanted to give my writing a shot and submit it to the Teen Ink. I think it is very intriguing to write for a prize, but without a doubt writing is fun and I am glad I took part of this!
