June 2022 Poetry Contest: Restoration
Gone
Sealed in a box
Dawn
Not a trace, fear knocks
On the door of hope
Incredible scope
Where's the escape rope?
Then a light
Ethereal, bright
Floods fear’s cave
Yearns to save
A crashing wave
It cleanses me of the decay
And I think this all will be okay
