I'm Sitting in Class and it's Raining
I want to run away,
I want to leave this place
Into the thick, marshy trees
Far from the human race.
Somewhere that is quiet,
And full of silent life
For me to sit and be inspired
Yet feel nothing near strife.
It amazes me the rain
And the beauty it holds
If only one stops to look
And break out of a conventional mold.

I wrote this as I was sitting outside, and everyone was complaining about the rain. I love the rain, and wished to capture the unseen beauty of it in this poem.
