Simply Knowing
Locked in a caged room
Figuratively I must confess
I face my doom
Much harder than the rest
The price I must pay
Just for understanding
The rest will not portray
In their minds, this is the happy ending
In a nonsensical place
I kneel down in pain
Clearly knowing is’t fame
Now I shall go up in flames
The past is the past
There it stays
I’ll stay quite
Right up until the end
Then they will quit their violence
Now I ascend
Up above the treetops
There is suffering no more
I’ve taken the hard road
Let's see what's in store
Those who sat in paradise
Now are in the cold
You’ve gambled with a dice
Your fate is decidedly sold
Now for those who suffered
Your reward is now approaching
Everything you want
All at the privilege of simply knowing
