The Stress Of Trying To Be The Best
Sometimes I have to stop myself from falling off the cliff of expectation
If that was all I said, you'd get it anyways
Because we've all been there
Just teetering over the edge
Most of the time you can't tell
People today are really good at hiding it
The mistake is shuffling it around till it all explodes
Yes, I do that too, you're not alone
When we go through these times, we tend to think no one relates
That makes it easier to hate everything around us
In some way, this will comfort you
I know this seems twisted or sick but it's true
The truth is you can decide to keep going
Or start over and chose how much you're going to let expectations decide
Then do your best in everything and you'll be fine
It might not seem that simple
And you'd be right
The path to perfection is non-existent
So don't try and hit it
Yet the results can be conjured
Where am I going with this you might ask
Good question, lets's take it from the top
Just be you
There is no need to stress about being the best

We live in a world with so much stress and expectation. I don't think we notice just how affected by it we are.
