The truth I owe you
I finally told you my story
It might not have been everything
And I am sorry that it made you worry
As your tears began emptying
I hope now you understand
That this is just a lie
But you have to take my hand
I promise not to die
This is something I will not break
Because you mean too much to me
And I won’t make the mistake
Of setting myself free
But seeing you in tears
Only made me realize
That you never saw me clear
Even through your beautiful eyes
But it showed
How much you love me
And how much I owe
To you for never giving up on me
And I love you
Forever
And today I knew
That you love me too, forever

Hi my name is Kayla and I am 15 years old. I wrote this poem about me telling one of my closest friends of 10 years everything about me. The poem is about her reaction to it and how it made me realize how much she loves me. It also made me realize that she will always have my back and be there to support me. So this poem goes to her and how much I love her.
