Small Opportunities
They come and go throughout our days
in unexpected, peculiar ways.
We may question their significance with extreme doubt,
but they completely shape how our lives play out.
A student is shy with no ambitions in life.
She hears about an art club but is nervous to join.
Reluctantly she joined and couldn’t be happier that she did.
She made new friends and found her passion in life.
A man lives all his life without a relationship.
He sits next to a woman in the subway but is scared to talk.
But against his will, he starts up a conversation.
And because of that decision, he now has a wife.
Without taking these small opportunities,
we may not notice the difference.
But truth be told, we should take them
As we never know what could lie ahead
