When I think of the name Trewyn, coming up with a color or any imagery is challenging. It’s a unique and uncommon name so it’s confusing and differently seen which makes me think of the sunset. Since depending on where, when, and how you look at it.  It is changing and always different.

Like a sunset. At some points my name is seen as very calm. A clear sky with no wind and basically no sunset. Just the blue sky slowly fading to black.

Other times the sky is filled with evil looking clouds. Moving at a million miles an hour as a storm rolls in.

But usually it’s only seen as a few clouds barely moving along. As the sky turns a beautiful orange. Sometimes even purple as the bright red sun sets.

I think that could be how different people see my name.

Some people see it and instantly think of it as TJ. Like a clear day. Just a darkening sky as the sun sets at the end of a long day.

Then some people see it and can remember that it is said differently than spelled. Like a sky spotted with clouds as a bright red sun sets onto the purplish horizon.

Then there are people who have never seen it that are very confused and their minds start racing. Like a storm rolling in on a dark blue sky as it blocks the sun and winds kick up.

Since it’s different for everyone. The first imagery I see in my name is sitting in a doctor's office. And having them say it wrong. Usually “Trey-win.” Or waiting for the substitute teacher to either butcher it or say it better than my mom. Past that there are no visuals I see in my name.

Making comparisons is hard. Like saying Trewyn.
