“Thoughts” [While bored at an FFA contest]
Social interaction is not what I’m good at,
You best believe I’d rather be home with my cat.
He doesn’t judge me the way others try to,
At least, they fail, because they don’t make me blue.
I don’t know much about seeds,
But I know I don’t like weeds.
My tics are bad, I can tell,
But what am I supposed to do? Oh well.
Ten minutes feels like forever,
Waiting isn't exciting; it's like watching reports on the weather.
To prove my point, I've written this poem in two 10 minute sessions,
Although I’m bored; I digress, I have learned some lessons:
Hay is good green,
And I'm scared if we could talk, some of these people would be mean.
I wrote this while at an FFA contest. I was really bored waiting, so I decided to write a poem. (this is from 2021, but I just found it and thought I'd share)
